Nishantha is one of the Associate Directors in EXCOM who is mainly responsible for business development and staff management.

Nishantha is a confident chartered quantity surveyor, who has been holding cost management positions in the UAE, Oman, Qatar and Sri Lanka over the last 13 years. His experience is manly related to infrastructure, multi-story high rise towers, high end hospitality, healthcare, education, private residential / commercial mix used developments, shopping complexes, and petrochemical projects.

Nishantha’s sound knowledge in quantity surveying is backed by his BSc (Hons) degree in quantity surveying. He is also a chartered quantity surveyor with MRICS and MAIQS professional qualifications.

Nanduni is a highly motivated and organized professional with five years’ experience. She is a graduate in Business Administration and currently pursuing the Masters in Business Administration.

Nanduni is a multi-tasker and has the ability to work in a high-pressure environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. She possesses a high level of professionalism, maturity, loyalty, confidentiality, and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels. Her aspiration for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to her most success. She believes mindfulness in the workplace is the key to success, a tenet she lives out through her interests in yoga, meditation, gardening, and painting.

Currently she holds the Manager Business Development position at EXCOM, with overall responsibility for developing and providing support on all Business Development services in UAE, KSA & Sri Lanka branches.

Pasan is a fully committed, self-motivated and resourceful Cost Manager with over 7 years’ industry experience in pre-contract and post-contract cost management aspects at international level specialising in the residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use developments, projects in Sri Lanka and UAE. Pasan has achieved a BSc in QS and is an energetic team member who takes every challenge with a positive mindset while delivering services to serve EXCOM clients entrusting Client satisfaction.

Associate Director

Manjula is dedicated professional with 14 years’ experience in quantity surveying, cost management, contract administration, establishing and maintaining realistic budget. She has experience in working on wide variety of projects such as villas, residential, high-rise, commercial, large mixed-use developments, education, leisure, hotels and infrastructure projects in the Middle East region and Sri Lanka.

Manjula is a chartered quantity surveyor and developed her professional career from graduate quantity surveyor to senior level. She maintained tremendous track records throughout her career, committing to the highest standards of her delivered services. Currently she holds Head of Pre-contract devision at EXCOM Sri Lankan branch, with overall responsibility for managing and delivering the outsource pre-contract works.

Commercial Manager

Gayan Ratnayake is one of the Commercial Manager who sits in EXCOM Sri Lankan Branch and has extensive global experience working for some of the biggest firms in the industry and has held various commercial positions in United Arab Emirates, KSA and Sri Lanka.

He is a self-motivated Quantity Surveyor with a B Sc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying, having both consultancy and contractor practice over 12 years work experience in respect of major quantity surveying aspects.

He has had exposure to a wide range of construction projects in a diverse array of sectors including Mix development Projects, Hospitals, Universities, Museums, Airports, Hotels, Residential Buildings and Civil Engineering Projects specialty with MEP stream.

Buddhini is a fully committed, self-motivated, and resourceful Commercial Manager with diversified 10 years’ industry experience in pre-contract and post-contract cost management aspects at international level specialising in the residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use developments, infrastructure projects in Asian and the Middle East regions. Buddhini hails from a robust quantity surveying background holding a BSc honors degree in QS who is an energetic team member who takes every challenge with a positive mindset while delivering services to serve EXCOM clients entrusting Client satisfaction.

Madhura has achieved a BSc in QS gaining proficient knowledge in the subject and he is proficient in using various software including Cost X to both 3D model and 2D measurement, BIM and CAD Measure. Janaka is also from a strong quantity surveying background holding a BSc honours degree in QS. Isuru is also from a strong quantity surveying background holding a BSc honours degree in QS with dynamic attributes in getting adapted easily to any kind of working environment. Amila Sumanasingha is one of the Senior Cost Manager who and has extensive global experience working for some of the biggest firms in the industry in United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Sri Lanka.

He is a self-motivated Quantity Surveyor with a B Sc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying and Membership of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having client, consultancy and contractor practice over 10 years work experience in respect of major quantity surveying aspects.

Ashoka is one of the Associate Director in EXCOM who sits in the EXCOM Head Office in Dubai, and mainly responsible for key client management and business development in the UAE. Ashoka’s cost consultancy career runs over 22 years and during this period she has held key positions including Head of Tendering in various construction and consultancy organizations in the UAE and Sri Lanka. Residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use developments, and infrastructure projects in the Middle East region and in Asia are among the main construction projects that she has hands on experience in both pre and post contract satges. Ashoka holds a BSc (Hons) degree in quantity surveying, and she is also a diploma holder in Construction Project Management. Ashoka’s extensive experience, leadership skills and idealistic working abilities are currently being used in EXCOM projects at top management level.

Associate Director

Ayodhya encompasses with diversified experience directing commercial/ cost management, tendering & procurement with contracts administration through-out his 20 years’ of career while engaging in airports, residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, mixed-use developments projects in Asian and the Middle East regions specialty with MEP steam. Ayodhya is coming from an engineering background holding a national diploma in technology and Master of Business Administration and having Associate Membership of Institute of Incorporate Engineers Sri Lanka. Ayodhya’s leadership and enthusiastic working skill encouraged him to take up a management role in various establishment in his career. Currently, he is based in Dubai and holding Associate Director position at EXCOM serving UAE branch.

Country Manager – UAE

Gayal is the Country Manager of EXCOM – UAE and responsible for overall management of the UAE Branch administration and operations. He is focused on ensuring that our high standard of service delivery is maintained to protect UAE and the Gulf region client’s best interests. His in-depth knowledge and experience throughout his carrier in cost management and contract administration together with his problem solving, interpersonal & leadership skills earned him his current role in EXCOM.

He has been working with reputed contractors and consultants in UAE and KSA. His areas of expertise include feasibility studies, quantification & costing, cost planning, procurement, tendering, contract administration, project financial control & reporting, claims and risk management through the sectors of construction such as residential, industrial, commercial, hospitality, mixed use, refurbishment and landscaping. This has been enabled him to accumulate valuable experience related to commercial management in all stages of construction from feasibility to final close out in diversified sectors.

His ability to planning from inception to completion with the proper decision-making skills leads successful operations and completion of undertaken projects.

Gayal’s academic background consists a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and a Master’s in Construction Project Management from Heriot Watt University- UK. Further, also he has obtained his Chartered Membership from RICS & Professional Membership of AIQS.

Managing Director

Duminda is the Managing Director of EXCOM, overseeing the UAE and Sri Lanka branches and responsible for overall management and development of EXCOM. He is focused on ensuring that our high standard of service delivery is maintained to protect client’s best interests. His well diversified knowledge and experience over 12 years in cost management and contract administration in residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use developments, and infrastructure sector together with his leadership skills earned him his current role in EXCOM. Duminda has a robust quantity surveying background holding a BSc (Hons) degree in quantity surveying, and a diploma in commercial arbitration. He is professionally qualified chartered quantity surveyor with MRICS, MAIQS, MCIArb and AIQS(SL) qualifications.

Aruna is a competent professional having wide array of commercial management skills and experience. He possesses B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Aruna is having more than twelve (12) years of experience holding key positions in internationally reputed organizations.

Aruna’s proven track record of work experience ranges in contracting, consulting and developers organizations in Sri Lanka and UAE. His areas of expertise include feasibility studies, quantification & costing, cost planning, procurement, tendering, contract administration, project financial control & reporting, claims and risk management. He involved in highly complex projects portfolios such as luxury residential towers, high end hospitality developments, educational facilities, mixed use developments, shopping complexes and various infrastructure developments.

Aruna’s interpersonal skills achieved in multicultural and global team environment has brought him up to an exceptional professional to take challenging role. Currently he holds Associate Director position at EXCOM Project Development Consultants and based in Sri Lankan branch.

Associate Director

ADanushka Aththanayake is an experienced Chartered Quantity Surveyor with having over 15 years work experience in construction industry with leading Employer / Consultancy / Contracting practice and having academic background of B. Sc (Hons.) in Quantity Surveying. He is having extensive exposure to both Pre and Post Contract projects in United Arab Emirates (14 years) and Sri Lanka.

He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and Member of Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS) since 2012.

His fields of work experience include Mixed Use Development, Residential (Villas, Mansions and Apartment High Story Towers), Hospitality (Hotel and Resorts), Retail Buildings, Hospitals, MEP Works, Electrical Substations, Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), DEWA Potable Water Line, DEWA High Voltage Overhead Line, Aviation/Air Ports, Infrastructure, Nature Parks, Landscaping and Interior Design (ID) & Fit-Out Works.

Areas of expertise includes advice on project procurement, tender management, tender and contract documentation, contract practice & administration, pre & post contract cost management, estimation, dispute resolution, value management (VE & LCC), claim management, project management, resource management, business development and real-estates.

As a self-motivated Quantity Surveyor, he developed his professional career from Jr. Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, Sr. Quantity Surveyor to Associate Director in Dubai, UAE and currently he holds an Associate Director position at EXCOM in Sri Lankan branch.

Chief Executive Officer

Uthpala is the Chief Executive Officer of EXCOM and he currently works remotely from Australia. He is involved in corporate decision making and managing overall operations and resources of EXCOM. He is a proud member of EXCOM team since its inception in 2017 as an emerging young, vibrant startup company.

Uthpala has been working for reputed developers, consultants and contractors across Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates and Australia over 13 years since 2007, which enabled him to accumulate valuable experience related to commercial management in all stages of construction from feasibility to final close out in diversified sectors of construction such as residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, mixed use, refurbishment and infrastructure.

He naturally has his instincts of attention to very fine details and always looks for results oriented collective work style with ‘out of box’ thinking to have win-win solutions.

Uthpala’s academic background consists a Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surverying from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka completed in 2007 and a Diploma in Management Accounting obtained from CIMA in 2007. Further, he became a chartered member of AIQS In 2011 and RICS in 2014.
